It’s been a hectic few days for Muscles. First he set tongues wagging when he posted an irate blog entry venting his frustration at being dropped from the Nevereverland lineup by his label Modular. Not surprisingly they were quick to refute his claim, saying he was still on the bill and they hoped he would perform, but Muscles isn’t backing down.
He’s hit back once again, linking through to the inthemix story in the process, telling his fans not to believe his label’s “silly press releases”. Perhaps even more bizarre is that Muscles has also taken to replying to individual messages posted by disenchanted fans on his blog, and he’s also vowed he’ll be quitting music entirely! “i’m quitting the music business altogether,” reads his latest comment. “and you’re all to blame.”
Coincidentally inthemix had an interview with his labelmate Julian Hamilton of The Presets earlier today, and he had his own view on the Muscles vs Modular hullabaloo, choosing to take the high road despite being drawn into the ordeal. “I really like Muscles, I think he’s a real talent,” Julian said. “He’s a really lovely guy. I think a few people thought [his comments] was maybe a dis on us, but I don’t think it was. I think it was just more of a dis on the current climate… perhaps!”

I swear to god he's just trolling now. Suggesting that he deserves to be on that poster more than Ladyhawke or Whitest Boy Alive is ridiculous.

makes me think more that the whole muscles thing. he actually hates that music and it was an entire piss take on modular. and this is his way to say "i'm over it, and i'm out"

If you take the time to listen to the way it is produced it actually sounds god to the ear of a producer. But it's the way he executes it live and his publicity. Oh and he can't write lyrics very well. Oh and the fact that he sings about things he has no idea about like drugs, which he has never taken any in his life. I liked him at first but as time has gone on everything he does and says digs himself a hole. He honestly has to stop and think about what he is going to say. He just needs to sign to a publishing firm because he is going about it all the wrong way. Supposably he is releasing a new single soon so I think this is his own way of attract attention. But maybe he shouldn't be fighting against Australia's most powerful forces. Modular, ITM, and ITMers!!!

Nooooo! not god, good. Jesus defiantly not god!!! His songs are shit alright!! They just have good production elements. He's a good(not god) producer but his song writing skills are down toilet. Actually if you strip it all down to an acoustic version of ice-cream it's really sad. Go and find it it's hilarious.
